Intermittent Fasting some facts I am learning along the way to why IF is a good choice for a healthier life :

  1. Intermittent Fasting Changes The Function of Cells, Genes and Hormones

when a person starts to fast insulin levels begin to drop, and human growth hormone increases. Your cells also initiate important cellular repair processes and change which genes they express. for me the most interesting facts is the fact that insulin levels begin to drop which is awesome for many health reasons such as the fear of being unhealthy and developing diabetes .Intermittent fasting has been known to prevent people from developing and been able to help people that have been diagnosed with diabetes 1 and 2 be able to come off the insulin and in some cases not have it anymore .which is a wonderful benefit to IF..

2.Intermittent Fasting Can Help You Lose Weight and Belly Fat

Intermittent fasting helps you eat fewer calories, while boosting metabolism slightly. It is a very effective tool to lose weight and belly fat.This for me is a major gain since as I have gotten older and more out of shape it seems that the majority of my calories have been deposited into my middle section and there is nothing more annoying then putting on a pretty dress and looking like you are carrying a small grapefruit in your middle section .and since its only been a few days I do see minor improvements it seems that I have had a little loss in the mid section area which is encouring me to keep going.

Besides these two interesting facts about IF there are other health reasons I feel that IF is a great choice

3.Intermittent Fasting May be Beneficial For Heart Health

This is another key factor for me since I have had several family members and friend’s and even co-workers over the course of my life time pass away or suffer major damage from heart problems . So the fact that IF helps control hearth disease is a awesome.

well it’s Thursday …I realized I have fallen behind in my blogging ..As I had stated in the beginning I was going to post daily on my journey to getting healthy and fit ..It’s been a couple of day’s and thing’s are progressing fine , I am becoming accustom to planning a menu for the week and starting and stopping my fasting in a timely manner . I am starting to notice changes like having more energy and craving less sweets little by little changes are happening ..I just need to incorporate some exercise into the plan and and it will all start coming together .

Well I like to do is talk about the reason I chose to start intermittent fasting and and to be a Vegan as well ..Yes I didn’t mention that in my first post that not only was I doing intermittent fasting but also a Vegan and I am not blogging this to get people to follow my choices but just show that it does work . Why intermittent Fasting ???

Well I chose Itermittent fasting for me because I liked the concept of for one that it allows you to eat through a specific period which in IF is refered to as your window .and you can choose to adjust your window as long or a short as you want it to be . For myself I am choosing a 6 hour window in which I will be able to have meals , snacks or what I chose within that window and then when I hit my six hour mark I close my window for the day .In the evening I continue to drink liquid’s with no sugar until the following morning when I reopen my window. Well to help keep track of all of this I use an app on my phone called called LIFE which is a downloadable app on Google and Apple it helps a great deal of awesome features for beginners like a fasting tracker , you can join groups as well sign up for personalized coaching .There are also a great deal of groups you can join through Facebook or Instagram that you can join to get ideas or suggestions or post questions .

Good Sunday afternoon…I wanted to jump on here this afternoon and blog a little more about Health and getting Fit well and Intermittent fasting .As you know as I stated yesterday this is going to be my Jam ..for getting healthy and fit for the remaining of this year and continuing into 2021. And being new to all of this blogging I may be doing it correctly or incorrectly and I do want to apologize and would love to post articles and links to products that I am using to put me on the right path with this and I promise will be doing it and maybe throughout the process get feed back or ideas from others or help someone with something they could use to help them .

Intermittent Fasting My New Journey

Well , to start I would like to say , this is something that I have chosen to follow in my own personal health and fitness journey . I am not advocating Intermittent fasting or diet or weight loss or any other diet options .Just to say that this is something that is working for me now to say that I am a 100% perfect at it would be untruthful . I have fallen off and on the past month or so, but I am going to do it again because when I did it I felt great . Now many people may not be on board with eating in a certain time frame or window of time as it is referred as in Intermittent fasting and that’s totally fine not judging or pushing this on anyone. I wanted to blog about it and see if people have liked doing it , considered doing or felt like it is something that they would not try .

I would like people to post comments or suggestions on the content that is posted on this blog ..I will try to stay current and post things that are relevant to my Journey as well as other things that may be helpful ( like recipes , affiliate links associated with health and fitness …Ect..)

Starting anew on this journey of getting healthy and fit .For the third consecutive time,the reason I decided to restart this blog again is hopefully to keep myself accountable and along the way hopefully develop new friendships ,give some inspiration and motivation to others on this journey.
