when a person starts to fast insulin levels begin to drop, and human growth hormone increases. Your cells also initiate important cellular repair processes and change which genes they express. for me the most interesting facts is the fact that insulin levels begin to drop which is awesome for many health reasons such as the fear of being unhealthy and developing diabetes .Intermittent fasting has been known to prevent people from developing and been able to help people that have been diagnosed with diabetes 1 and 2 be able to come off the insulin and in some cases not have it anymore .which is a wonderful benefit to IF..

Intermittent fasting helps you eat fewer calories, while boosting metabolism slightly. It is a very effective tool to lose weight and belly fat.This for me is a major gain since as I have gotten older and more out of shape it seems that the majority of my calories have been deposited into my middle section and there is nothing more annoying then putting on a pretty dress and looking like you are carrying a small grapefruit in your middle section .and since its only been a few days I do see minor improvements it seems that I have had a little loss in the mid section area which is encouring me to keep going.

This is another key factor for me since I have had several family members and friend’s and even co-workers over the course of my life time pass away or suffer major damage from heart problems . So the fact that IF helps control hearth disease is a awesome.
